He delivered a beatboxing workshop to our young people at a unique setting. Being only 1 of 6 units of it's kind in the UK he brought beatboxing into the world of secure mental health. He was fantastic with our young people, building a rapport with them very quickly and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone and try something completely new. He adapted to the restrictions instantly and was keen to get all young people involved and not allow any barriers to hinder any engagement. Seeing the enjoyment on our young peoples faces I hope it made his journey down to the south worth while. Bringing staff and young people together for a completely new activity we will definitely be inviting him back to Bluebird soon.

The beatboxing session was brilliant! All children were engaged, and although they haven’t had much of a chance to sit in the hall before due to Covid rules, they were listening well and joining it. It was a fun session and I felt Lee was very skilled at keeping the children focused.
